Decoiler
Features
The decoiler is composed of two essential elements, namely the mandrel and the basement. The mandrel is designed in such a way that its size can be altered, either to shrink or expand. This adjustment is carried out manually through a mechanical device. When using the decoiler, the first step is to attach the coil firmly to the mandrel. After the coil is properly fixed on the mandrel, the entire assembly, which includes the coil and the mandrel, is then placed back onto the basement for further operations.
- Rollers: Designed by senior engineers using Auto – CAD software, the rollers are manufactured from 45# high – grade steel through CNC machine tools and are coated with hard chrome.
- Shaft: The shaft, with a diameter of 70mm, is fabricated from 45# high – grade steel using CNC machine tools.
- Supporting frame: The supporting frame features steel wallboards that serve to guide the forming station and act as the bearing basement.
