Description
The CZ305 is a heavy-duty roll forming machine designed for the continuous production of both C-shaped and Z-shaped steel purlins — the core structural components in modern pre engineered buildings. It has a robust mill-type frame with 30KW servo main drive and forms at speeds of around 27-30 m/min so is a good option for fabricators who require uniform processing of a broad size range of profiles.
The cz purlin roll forming machine can produces purlins with bottom flange widths of 100mm to 305mm, web heights of 50mm to 100mm and lip dimensions of 10mm to 20mm — suitable for C-profiles and Z-profiles. It can process steel coils up to 3.0mm thickness for Q235 material and 2.75mm for G350MPA grade steel.
The purlin roll forming machine consists of 20 forming stands and 4 finishing sizing rolls. The forming rollers are machined from Cr12 die steel and GCr15 bearing steel, both of which offer excellent wear resistance and dimensional stability in continuous production. The production of punching and cutting dies made of Cr12MoV tool steel by wire EDM and heat treatment enables sharp cuts and long service life.

Changeover made simple
One of the CZ305’s most practical features is its computer-controlled, stepless size adjustment system. Rather than having to manually change rollers or spacers when changing from C to Z profiles or changing dimensions, the operator simply inputs the new parameters on the 7-inch full-color touch screen. The machine handles the rest via a dedicated changeover motor (0.55kW/0.75kW). The C-to-Z profile swap is accomplished through a manual 180° flip mechanism — straightforward, reliable, and quick.
Precision levelling and drive system
Material enters through a 7-roll levelling unit (3 upper, 4 lower) with solid 95mm diameter shafts, ensuring coil set is removed and the strip enters the forming section flat and stress-free. The main forming shafts are 90mm in diameter (75mm for certain sections), machined from solid round steel.
The servo drive is 30KW which allows accurate speed control and positioning . For the length measurement a photoelectric encoder was taken from Koyo ( Japan ) which guaranties accurate cut-to-length operation with a reliable component selection .

Punching and cutting configuration
The machine is equipped with five hydraulic punching stations positioned at the front of the line (pre-punch configuration), with hole sizes and patterns customizable to customer specifications. The cutting system combines front shearing with a universal shear that accommodates infinitely adjustable bottom flange widths — meaning you’re not locked into fixed cut sizes.

Control and connectivity
The machine runs on a PLC-based control system with integrated control modules. Remote diagnostics capability can be added as an option. The operator interface is straightforward: physical switches, push buttons, relays, and other conventional electrical components are complemented by the 7-inch touchscreen for parameter input and production monitoring. USB data import is supported, making it easy to load new job setups.

Build quality and finishing
The machine follows a gantry-type frame construction with 38mm-thick housing plates, mounted on a precision-machined H446×199 base. All frames and wall plates are painted, while individual components receive baking paint, chrome plating, galvanizing, or black oxide finishing before final assembly — a level of surface treatment typically specified for export-grade equipment.

Auxiliary equipment and footprint
The CZ305 comes with a 5-ton capacity manual decoiler (600mm coil width capacity) and three triangular finished-product support stands. The complete line measures approximately 13.8 meters in length, 1.7 meters in width, and 1.8 meters in height, with a total weight of about 14 tons.
